Big business is the collective term used for large corporations, some of which are well-known, others of which try to be low-riders, like the Koch Industries. Big business is not a single corporate entity, but is a collective of corporate entities working together and independently to achieve one goal: maximize profits. Theodore Roosevelt was largely anti-big business.

What's Wrong with Big Business?

In big business, companies take advantage of tax loopholes and other loopholes to meet the goal above: maximize profit at the expense of everything else. This is not a moral attitude for people to have and there are some businesspeople who are abandoning this idea.
