Chicago is the largest city in Illinois and the Midwest region of the United States. It is one of the most popular cities in the country. Unlike the southern half of Illinois, Chicago is less affected by fundamentalist Protestant Christianity. Many Chicago people are liberal Christians or Roman Catholics, similar to Boston. There are also some Chicago people with Non-Christian faith. [1] Other Chicago people can see that no religion makes sense. [2] Despite being part of the Rust Belt, Chicago is one of the few cities in the region that is slowly making a comeback, along with Indianapolis, Columbus, and Pittsburgh.
It has an average daily maximum temperature in the shade 1.2m (4 feet) above the ground with no wind of 29°C in the hottest month and an average daily maximum temperature in the shade 1.2m (4 feet) above the ground with no wind of 1°C in the coldest month.
Chicago is also home to Sears Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the United States.
The mayor of Chicago is Lori Lightfoot.
Chicago is considered one of the best sports cities in the U.S. It has a team in every major professional sports league: the Cubs (baseball), the White Sox (baseball), the Bears (American football), the Bulls (basketball), and the Blackhawks (ice hockey).
Chicago is the name of a soft-rock band from, you guessed it, Chicago.
