Cori Anika Bush is US Representative for Missouri's 1st District, a strong progressive voice and advocate of progressive policies, and a strong representative of the homeless, as she has experience in being homeless. She was one of the progressive upset victories in 2020.

Bush has NO relation to war criminal George W. Bush, thank God!

Like AOC before her, Bush defeated a long-time Democrat incumbent (Lacy Clay) in the primary and won against her Republican opponent in the general election.

In 2021, after assuming office, she fought to extend the Eviction Moratorium for millions of Americans who faced eviction from their homes during a Second Great Depression/Pandemic. While AOC and others joined her, Bush stood out as she had previously experience of being homeless. With enough pressure from the Progressive Left, President Biden finally extended the Eviction Moratorium.[1][2][3][4]
