The whole world owes a debt to the Founding Fathers of the United States of America. Without them Representative democracy would have been much harder to spread worldwide, perhaps impossible.[1] Their influence has been felt both in America and abroad, both in modern times and in their time. A mere thirteen years after they issued the Declaration of Independence, leaders of the French Revolution ripped them off with the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. The Founders did not sue for copyright infringement, because they were cool like that.
