IQ (stands for:Intelligent Quotient) is a score that is supposed to measure a person's intelligence. Standardized tests that allow to receive such a score are called IQ tests.
The tests are usually designed for an average score of 100 and a standard deviation of 15, being rebalanced with time to follow these results more closely.[1]
The reliability of IQ tests is in question, as your score isn't static and can change if you take them multiple times, take them at different times of day, take them in another language, et cetera. Also, while there nine different types of intelligence, IQ tests only measure one: the cognitive ability to detect patterns and solve problems.

- IQ linked to levels of happiness We shouldn't run things as a Libertarian free for all because if we do the less intelligent people will regularly lose out.
