Kevin Rudd is an Australian Politician and former Prime Minister of the nation. He first stepped into politics in 1981 when he joined the Department of Foreign Affairs. He also majored in Chinese History and Language. He speaks proficient Mandarin.

Political Career

He first became a Member of Parliament in 1998. In 2001 he became Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs. Later he became the Leader of the Opposition. In the 2007 election he became Prime Minister. His first act was signing the Kyoto Protocol. Afterward he gave an apology to the indigenous Australian peoples and pledged to help them as the wealth gap between indigenous and non indigenous Australians is huge.
