A keyboard is a piece of computer equipment used to type letters quickly onto a computer screen, typically into some sort of form field. When computers had no screens, the keyboard was still used to input information and instructions, but there was not visual.
Keyboards are traditionally "Qwerty," which is the first six letters on the traditional keyboard. Another layout is the "Dvorak" layout.
Once, the Bush Administration made an "administrative" error (hahaha) and distributed government keyboards without the "b." This was accidentally to prevent top officials (to Bush: "powerful potential seditors") from typing the word "Bush." However, they failed to realize that whenever someone typed the word "Worst president in the history of America" no "b" was used and everyone knows they meant George Bush.
