Here we're parodying Conservapedia, and we know we're exaggerating.

This article describes a party with "liberal" in its name. For a real liberal Australian party, see Australian Labor Party.

The Liberal Party of Australia is a major Australian political party. Despite the name, the LPA is a center-right party, closer to the Republican Party of the United States. This comes from the fact that, in Australia, the definition of the word "liberal" differs from the one used in the U.S. and Europe.

The Liberal Party of Australia was the party that made Australia bad. They introduced a lot of things that were unfair to the hard working population of Australia and claimed they were helping the country. The former leader of the Australian liberal party is John Howard, he wanted us to vote for him so he could retire, and he said he would hand it over to Peter Costello, who no one would vote for anyway. Luckily now we have Labor and the country will be good again (kinda). Trust me, Liberals in Australia are as bad as Conservatives in America. At least in America the Liberals know what to do.
