The Liberty Counsel is connected to Liberty University and is also about denying freedom to people who want to do what Liberty Counsel sees as Unchristian. They provide biased information to legislators and fight legal cases which support the Religious right agenda.
Does liberty for this Liberty Counsel include allowing gays freedom to follow their preferred orientation? According to Wikipedia the Council wants employers to be free to discriminate against gays, wants to deny US service personnel the freedom to be openly gay, wants to deny gays freedom to marry, to form Civil partnerships, or to adopt children. The Liberty Counsel also works to force women to carry babies they don't want.
