The flag of Libya

Libya is a Muslim Arab nation in Northern Africa.

A physical map of Libya.

Most of the country consists of desert, (The green on the physical map is misleading and simply shows Libia is low lying.)

Most of Libya's exports consist of petroleum products.[1] In 2011, there was a civil war, which ended up overthrowing the government and having the former dictator named Muammar Gaddafi, killed by rebels in the town of Sirte.

Libya is currently in transition; Democracy has been promised and Liberapedia hoped that happens. But the Sharia-law was introduced. [2]

Lybia borders Egypt to the east, Sudan to the southeast, Chad and Niger to the south, and Algeria and Tunisia to the west. It is the fourth largest country in Africa.[3]
