Lincoln Davenport Chafee (/ˈtʃeɪfiː/; born March 26, 1953) is an American politician from Rhode Island who has served as the Mayor of Warwick (1993–1999), as a U.S. Senator (1999–2007), and as the 74th Governor of Rhode Island (2011–2015).[1]
