Phil Alexander Robertson (born April 24, 1946) is a hunter, businessman and Television personality on A&E's Duck Dynasty and Outdoor Channel's Duck Commander. He is a stereotypical gun-happy Redneck who is loaded with money. His political views are that we is staunchly social conservative and he is undoubtedly a christian fundamentalist.
Robertson endorsed Ted Cruz (oh geez) for President of the United States in 2016. Cruz said: ""I am thrilled to have Phil's support for our campaign. The Robertsons are a strong family of great Christian faith and conservative values." [1] After Lying' Ted was defeated by the Donald, he endorsed him instead. He also endorsed Roy Moore in the Alabama Senate Special Election in 2017.
Political Views
Abortion
Robertson staunchly opposes the practice of Abortion, and has called it a violation of the declaration of Independence [2].
Homosexuality
Robertson made statements during December 2013 on how "man sucking anus is just not that fun" and blacks were not really mistreated too much. This caused A&E to suspend him from the show. After backlash from fans of Duck Dynasty, he was allowed back on the show nine days later.
Robertson said in 2016, “we have to rid the earth” from people who support Marriage equality. [3]
Black Grandson
It has been reported that Robertson has adopted a black grandson.[4] Robertson also imagined black people were happy before Civil rights when they were Segregated and subject to Jim Crow. [5] We're just a bit concerned for that Black Kid.
