Qatar is a small country in the Middle East, on the coast of the Persian Gulf with a population just .2 Million. It shares a border with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to the southeast. The Island of Bahrain is located to the northwest. Due to oil wealth, Qatar is a Developed country with good welfare provision for its citizens. Migrant workers are treated badly.

Unusually for this region Qatar has a constitution guaranteeing freedom of expression and religious freedom. Qatar is a Monarchy. There is a Parliament with some seats Democratically elected but others appointed by the emir. [1] [2] The Taliban has an office in Qatar. [3]


At Schools in Qatar Children are taught to look down on women who don't wear the hijab and are also taught Anti-semitism. [4]
